Performing Opportunity

HaoExpression is happy to offer performance opportunities for our adult ballet community. During the months leading up to the show, we are proud to support the ballet training of our adult and teen dance students all levels and all ages. We love to witness the growth and hard work of our dancers in the studio each week. We like to create opportunities for all dancers to shine and for all our instructors to showcase their students’s hard work.

To participate in the showcase, please note the following condition and performance requirements

• ​Be a HaoExpression member (with an on going A-Pass pack)
• Attend weekly Ballet technique and repertoire/choreography classes at HaoExpression.
• The piece performed must be set by a HaoExpression faculty and at HaoExpression studio, within the themes set for the show by the Directors. Practices need to take place at HaoExpression studio.
• All instructors will teach a group dance and some solos pieces.
• Solos will be cast at the discretion of the instructors and directors.
• To be cast in a dance, dancers must attend regular Ballet technique classes and Repertoire/Choreography class with the instructor who sets the dance.
• If the teacher is teaching a role in person, then all dancers should learn it in person in order to be cast. If a teacher is virtual, there is the opportunity to learn it virtually.
• ​Dancers are responsible for acquiring their own costumes. Dancers to check with their choreographer/director before purchases in order to maintain a cohesive artistic look and feel. Group dance costumes are selected by the choreographer/director.
• When available, HaoExpression is happy to offer costume rentals with a $200 deposit that will be refunded as account credit for future classes, upon return of the properly cleaned costume.
• Performance Fee:
  • Performance fee includes 2 show tickets
    • Early birds $100, sign up by Dec 31
    • $110 by Jan 31
    • $120 by Feb 29 - Deadline for solo casting
    • $130 by March 31
    • $140 by April 30 - Upon Choreographer's approval
• Photo & Video package: $30​

To sign up, log into Pike13, click on Services, scroll down under Appointment section, click on Performance Project, and sign up (Note: option visible only if you have a running A-Pass pack)​

Cancellation policy Dancer may cancel 90 days before the the event start time and receive a full refund,
between 90 days and 60 days before the event start time and receive a 75% refund,
between 60 days and 30 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations submitted less than 30 days before the Event start time are not refundable.
