Performing Opportunities

HaoExpression is happy to offer performance opportunities for our adult ballet community. We like to create opportunities for all dancers to shine and for all our instructors to showcase their students’s hard work.

To participate in the showcase, please note the following condition and performance requirements

• Attend weekly Ballet technique and repertoire classes at our studio. Candidate for solo, pas de deux, pas de trois commit to minimum 2 weekly classes.
• The pieces performed must be set by our faculty and practiced at HaoExpression studio, within the themes set for the show by our directors.
• All dancers are required to be in at least one supporting role (Corps de Ballet or Acting roles).
• Solos will be cast at the discretion of the instructors. Instructors may cast in priority the dancers who attend their classes most diligently.
• For Pas de Deux: the dancers agree to dance together and approach the directors to choose a PDD piece and a coach. PDD pieces are first come first served.
• ​Dancers are responsible for acquiring their own costumes. Dancers must check with their choreographer and costume director before purchases in order to maintain a cohesive artistic look and feel. Group dance costumes are selected by the choreographer and approved by the costume director.
• When available, HaoExpression offers free costume rentals with a $100 deposit that will be refunded as account credit for future classes, upon return of the properly cleaned costume.
• Dancers are committed to perform in both shows, and to attend theater rehearsals when required.
• Performance Fee includes 4 show tickets. Register early to get the best rate.
